After that, only changes at block level are backed up. The SOL Data Backup™ system rebuilds a full master for each generation of data, when recovery is needed. All data is compressed and encrypted before the DS-client transmits it to the SOL Data Backup™ datacentre. There it is stored encrypted online on fast and reliable disk subsystems, ready for fast and reliable recovery.
